Business Processes Team

Supplier Relationship Management

The Supplier Relationship Management team provides a platform which promotes equality, fairness and inclusivity for all vendors. The team implements the company’s policies and procedures on vendor accreditation, segmentation and performance evaluation.
These processes allow Okada Manila and its vendors to develop a mutually beneficial relationship—maximizing opportunities, minimizing risks.

Contract Management

For businesses to enjoy a successful relationship with its vendors, it is vital to fulfill the commitments both parties have agreed on, and these come in the form of contracts.

The Contract Management team is responsible for the following:
  • Monitoring the life cycle of a contract from its execution to its termination
  • Coordinating the issues that need to be settled between the vendors and the company’s Legal Department
  • Evaluating vendor performance in terms of fulfilling their responsibilities and obligations as stated in the contract and in Okada Manila's Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Acting as a repository and official document keeper of all contracts that Okada Manila is a party to.

With the support of the Legal Department, the team manages all kinds of contracts pertaining to purchase of goods and/or services, and leasing, from a simple order and framework agreements to complex constructions or service contracts.


Procurement Team

Operating Supplies & Equipment

The Operating Supplies & Equipment (OSE) team covers a wide range of products required for the optimal operation of Okada Manila from development to implementation. The team is also involved in budgeting and quality control, ensuring that all functions achieve the property’s goals.

Food & Beverage

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Procurement team sources top quality products to meet the requirements of the F&B business units. Seeking to drive best value to Okada Manila, the team ensures all sourcing activities are aligned with company policies and procedures on health, safety, financial and receiving controls, among others.

Gaming Supplies & Equipment

The Gaming Supplies and Equipment (GSE) team takes care of an integral section of Supply Chain as it requires the approval of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). The team works with the gaming business units to source and negotiate supplies, from slot machines to gaming tables, chips and cards.

Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment and Construction

Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FFE) and Construction team deals with the supply and installation of all the furniture and decorative equipment in the property. Supporting all other business units, the team ensures that goods and services are received timely and economically, without compromising design and operational requirements.

Services

The Services Procurement team manages all services for the company, including manpower sourcing, travel agency, pest control and facility management. Keeping vendor relations intact and diverse, the team enables competitive sourcing that will provide the best value to Okada Manila.

The procurement teams maintain a competitive bidding process, with the participation of qualified contractors and suppliers.


Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Management, Distribution and Logistics

The Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Management, Distribution and Logistics team oversees the movement of products from source to facility, on top of quality and quantity checking. Internally, the team manages the warehousing of products and distribution to business units. The Logistics team manages freight movement, which may include customs clearance and approval from governing authorities such as the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), among others.

Services include:
  • Centralized location for receiving, storing and distribution of products
  • Inspection of goods; checking of quality and quantity
  • Inventory planning, analysis and forecasting
  • Management of warehouse and storage area
  • Logistics such as, but not limited to, freight forwarding (local and international), planning and coordination
  • Compliance to government regulations on importation of goods
